Hey @Miqote, since you seem to like playing around with the HomebrewWebFramework would you mind trying out the HTML5 Gamepad API. I'm really curious if the joycons or even the pro controller would be recognised.

To test it you could just google HTML5 Gamepad Tester and download the site with Waybackmachine Downloader.

I'm gonna try it myself on the weekend, but for now sadly i'm to busy.

The API works, I've tried myself. However, RPGMaker HTML games freeze the browser. Not sure what the problem is yet.

Video tutorials aren't ideal since it might change drastically and then make the video tutorial out of date. Is there a way I can make the written tutorial any easier to understand?

Posting @ Nevercholt Tech because he makes tutorials and updates.

Just posted this https://github.com/thedax/ppsspp-ffmpeg/commit/2b7f48e162b6b708009e22d236eabe45ee7c51c7 in another thread. Not sure if it could be of any use with the HTML player.

has anyone tried if cookies work?

I'm thinking about making something like netflix but offline.

Continue watching where you left off would be a great feature ^^

That would require cookies tho

You know guys, you can run mp3s mp4s with nx shell and use them, right?
This was made before that was possible, and before Pplay existed. Now, of course, it is deprecated, however if you still want to make a dedicated title on your Switch with a custom GUI it is a good solution. I know of people that use this to package up whole seasons of shows in their own TID.

pPlay and NX Shell have made this obsolete for the most part, but there are plenty of benefits to getting a media player custom NSP running on the Switch!

I have attached some pictures of custom NSPs that Myself , Snakey and Cellenseres have made and they run great, especially since they use Nintendo's native media player too.

i also forgot, who is Snakey and Cellenseres?

Snakey is a community member, was on WarezNX but has since stepped away from the discord scene, same goes for Cellen.

Both Snakey and I we're inspired by Cellen's media player (still best ones created to this day) and so we both decided to work on custom NSPs. Once I'm home I can link you a tutorial to help you out.
