You will need to power it on with the power button on the Switch, and you will boot into RCM when you do so.
Thanks, once
powering it off using the switch's menu is not really powering down the machine, just rebooting it into RCM. You need to turn it off with hekate.

That being said, you can "wake up" the switch plugging in the USB-C cable or pressing power just one time. That will put it in RCM.

There's no real way to wake it up.

the way i turn my console off wit AUTORCM is powering off normally (within the switch) and when is completely black, hold the power button for 15 sec and that's it

That should work, but I don't know why you're powering it off. It should be left in sleep mode, unless it's going to be unplugged and unused for weeks.

The thing is, i was on 6.2 and i updated accidentally to 7.0.0, so, instead of boot OFW, i kept the AUTORCM and i haven't touched the switch, but i'm scared of ARCM, i feel like it will turn on without noticing and drain all the battery haha

works, but not really recommended, take the extra step and use hekate
That will keep ARCM?

Yeah, it just turns off the console, it's safer and you're making sure that the console is OFF. You're not really sure if it's off with AutoCRM unless you select Turn off with hekate lol.

Turn it off the way you described or by powering off in Hekate, all while it's unplugged, and don't plug it in at all after turning it off. It will not enter RCM.

maybe, why not? he's free to do whatever he wants with his work

A couple of weeks ago he said it should be ready in a week or two. Are you accusing him of being a troll?

He doesn't give off the impression of someone who doesn't want to release it when it's done, or just take a couple of months off for lolz.

but for now, Atmos for 7.0.1 will be released

Nobody knows if they will wake up tomorrow morning, so maybe it won't be released.

I said that if sciresm hits a problem that means he can't release it between now and june then it's more likely it will be abandoned than released on june 15th. It's over three months away and SciresM expected it to be released in a week or two, a couple of weeks ago. That would be severely demotivating to anyone to still be working on it that long when you thought it wouldn't even take a month.

I'm not saying he will hit a problem that will take that long, I think it's more likely it will be released this month or next.

I was merely responding to the "it's likely it will be june 15th because of the slow progress" comment.

I would like to take this opportunity to observe that June 15th is a date that can occur on literally any real world date, including but not limited to every day that is not the June 15th that occurs 24 hours after June 14th.

It probably means all you need is someone to plug in the keys and compile a version that then works for anyone.
Like Scires will probably do in like half an hour

A little longer than that. Before I can do a release, I need to update atmosphere to use libnx's new versioning API.

Sorry for bringing the bad news, but it'll take a while for a new release to happen due to libnx changes.

Non-BYOK is here and it's a good thing (even if most of us can't enjoy it just yet), but we'll all have to wait a bit more.

EDIT: Welp, ninja'd by the man himself!
