Yes but some provisos.
If you tried it and it worked without any traumas I would not be surprised in the slightest. If you tried it and at first it timed out I would also not be surprised. We theorised it was due to extra patches messing up the timings, and older flash carts with different patches seemed to work ( https://ezflash.sosuke.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17714 ). In some cases people also noted a difference between cheapo third party cables and decent first party ones, one that might not have been evident in commercial offerings, and there is a basis for this one.
At this point I have not tried any of the new EZ4 kernels that autopatch, the EZ Omega or the everdrive for this properly.
