Are there any possible methods to deleting game updates or "downgrading" games without the use of devmenu? I'm on 6.1.0.
Oh nice find, looks like enough info to go on if someone knows how to access that stuff from an app. There was an issue opened up for this on tinfoil's repository a little ways back.
It looks like they found where the value needing changed is stored but not much besides that.

Speed running is a common reasonWhy would you need to downgrade a game?
Ah damn. I had no idea it was even working on 6.x. Downgrading isn't possible if the update was done regularly right?I'm not aware of any method besides devmenu, so you're out of luck unless you go back to 5.1 or certain devs stop keeping devmenu 6.x to themselves to feel special.
I noticed this too, but I guess it's not a feature that is important enough to be worked on at the moment. There was an issue opened up for this on tinfoil's repository a little ways back.

Exactly. Was hoping to play version 1 Odyssey.Speed running is a common reason
Most users running 1.0 are using a cartridge, if you are running digital you need to extract the nsp iirc.Exactly. Was hoping to play version 1 Odyssey.
You could downgrade firmware with Choiwhatever, then you'd only be able to boot CFW from RCM as it skips the fuse check, booting OFW wouldn't work.Ah damn. I had no idea it was even working on 6.x. Downgrading isn't possible if the update was done regularly right?
Thanks for helping. I ended up downgrading to 5.1 and using devmenuYou could downgrade firmware with Choiwhatever, then you'd only be able to boot CFW from RCM as it skips the fuse check, booting OFW wouldn't work.
