I think my problem is that I learn A LOT about a system, then lose interest in the games. right now, in fact, I'm backing up my sd2vita to an external hdd. I'm obsessed with backups after a ps3 and a 360 hdd died due to pos sabrent enclosures. I have six hdds connected to my laptop solely for backups. ;)
Yea, I have several drives just for backups. With hard drive prices dropping, it is a lot easier to collect. I just wish a PS3 games collection was easier to get. I can't imagine how large that is. 360 was over 12TB.

I was collecting 'til those hdds died. now, I think it's best to keep only a small selection of games at a time. my internet speed isn't very fast, so downloading 50GBs takes all night. I think it may be better to rent the games from gamefly instead. I haven't done it yet. I need a laundry list of good games since the $15.95/month is a rip off. you can get a reduced price for three months at the beginning, so I need a list to have all games ripped before that price increases.

I look at OfferUp frequently, and 360's are so cheap, that it may be worth getting a cheap, RGH moddable slim, and taking it to a guy to mod it for you.

I lucked out an bought an already modded Slim with 2TB drive for $150 on OfferUP last year.

I actually own 3 360s, 2 of which are jtags, and 1 that's just cfw on the optical drive. they're all phats which I don't trust after my first system rrod. I might buy a slim, but I'm not sure if I'd play it. the only games I played on 360 were Braid, which I beat, and I almost beat tales of versperia, but that's coming out for the switch. :P I think we're branching off topic though. ;)

Hi all, I have an old Slim RGH that just hangs on the boot screen (360 animation) seemingly no matter what I do.. Any advice appreciated!

Try booting into XeLL first, see if that works and reboot the xbox.

Other things you could try is building a newly hacked NAND with JRunner (use your NAND backup for this)

Hey guys,

I have these 2 360s sitting around that I rarely use.

Fat 360 with 120GB HDD:
175260
Date: 2009-07-21
12v 12.1a
Jasper

360E 4GB with 250GB HDD:
16547
Mfr date: 2014-06-03
12v 9.6a, 5v 1a
(probably Corona V6, will open up if going forward)

After reading through the guide, can you guys see if I'm able to mod these?

This is what I gathered:
1. need to use RGH2 for them both due to the dash version
2. going to use J-R Programmer V2 to dump the NAND
3. install Coolrunner Rev C for both of them to trigger the glitch

Would I be able to glitch these 2 with RGH2 using the Coolrunner Rev C or is there a better glitch that I should use? Also does anyone know how easy to glitch these 2 with RGH2?

Thanks.

The jasper is possible and there's different methods you can go about most with insta boots - Matrix / Ace chips

The 360E will not be glitchable as its a winchester motherboard - If you want to be 100% certain remove heatsink and fan. No cpu heatspreader then its a winchester.

Thanks, I'll start with the fat and will see what's the motherboard on the other one really is.

Hello, im buying a 360 that was manufactured on 2011-06-28, how do I know this is the version that can the internal 4GB module can be easily removed?
It'll have 10.83A on the back stickers for the power rating. If it says 9.6, it's not removable. The 10.83A ones are trinity motherboards with a removable PCB, and the 9.6 ones are corones with the emmc on the motherboard

Hey guys. I want to RGH1.2 my Jasper console, and I have bought a JRProgrammer V2 kit and a Matrix Glitcher V1. While I wait for them to arrive, I try to prepare for the installation to come (download appropriate programs, find the correct files, find the solder points, and read the installation tutorial from start to finish). I'm stuck now, however, as I can't find a definitive answer as to what points I am to solder to. The points in the OP is for the Falcon revision, and the only other tutorial for RGH1.2 with the Matrix Glitcher V1 are these ones: https://archive.fo/EW2YO, and https://github.com/gotbletu/wikimd/blob/master/xbox360.md, but as far as I can tell, none of them are stating which motherboard revision the soldering diagrams are for. If anyone can help me find a correct diagram, I'll be very happy

The points are the same. That’s why you’re not finding another diagram.

all 16MB coronas don't have the 4GB emmc and are still 9,6A

Check in settings / Storage - If no hard drive / memory then its a 16MB

Really? Because it seems to me that the points are different in the OP and in the photos in the links I posted (its the same diagram in both links)
Positive. But what do I know? I’ve only done a few hundred consoles. The only different point is CLK, and that’s because the point used in the other guides is tiny and will brick the console if you mess it up. It’s not noob friendly and lowers your chance of a successful hack.
