Sorry to clutter the thread but I need to know and I can't find the answer. So I hacked my Wii U and vWii but since the tutorial I used was very wordy and I didn't care about my Wii U, I didn't backup anything. Now that I realized the hacking capabilities, I now care about it and don't want a brick. Can I still make a backup that would allow me to unbrick, or did I screw myself over? Don't bother telling me that I'm an idiot for not backing up in the first place because I know.

I believe the nand is the same as before hacking it. Just make the backup.
Problemwith the backup is that even if you brick it. You have to use hardmod to unbrick it and the hardmod is almost as costly as a new console.
But at least you have backup just in case. Plus someone my find a way to soft mod in the future. Who knows

Costly as a new console? Where does that info come from? A teensy is super cheap
