Here's the screwed up part; on the chat with the Newegg rep, I asked them to use a memory test on the next batch they send out to me, and they said, "Sorry, we don't test items before we send them out to customers." And yet, part of the RMA process is a 3-5 DAY testing period to make sure it's actually faulty before they issue a replacement.
Wooooooow ok

I can understand them not testing it prior to shipping. Imagine you paid for "NEW/IN-BOX" RAM, and then they opened it up to test. When you get it, it'll just be the stick without any packaging. I don't think it'd fly.

newegg has their own rma testing department, if they find out the memory is indeed bad then they will send you a new kit and send the broken kit back to the manufacturer, they are not going to open a brand new kit to test it for you
i'm guessing there was alot of abuse and users sending in stuff for replacements that wernt actually broke just user error or incompatibility with other hardware

The return was approved. They said they'll ship it out by the end of tomorrow, then it'll be 2 day shipping. Once that's done I can finally finish all the software loading and have a complete product to write about.

Okay, the PC is back online, the RAM seems to have passed a Windows memory diagnostic. Only got one IsDone.dll error so far, but I think it was because of an incomplete archive this time, haven't seen it again.

Back to the software loading....

Bumping because I want to know how it's going.

Funny enough I was just about to write something today.

I had finally finished all the software loading. I went to sleep, intending to make the tutorial when I woke up...but that's when I woke up to a truly nasty surprise.

Windows 10 is stuck on boot permanently. My guess is that it's the result of an update, since I set it to never go to sleep. I didn't give it permission to update, but as we're all aware, Microsoft doesn't need your permission anymore.

I'm working on the issue now, I'll probably make a GBATemp thread about it, but for the time being, check this Tweet for updates.

I got a couple of suggestions for you. The first model is LG - 55" Class C1 Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. You can find this TV at BestBuy for 1200$(US), one of the best TVs right now.
The second one is Samsung - 65" Class QN90A Neo QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. You can buy it at Bestbuy for 2,199$(US), price is higher than your budget, but you can have a good economy using this information from this site digitalmasta.com on how to use spectrum without cable box.
Both models are great, I have the second one, bought last month.
