Recently received a broken PSP 3000 and 2000 from my friend who didn't want to throw them out. Unfortunately, the 3000 is entirely bricked (green LED, black screen, no button combos work, no sound) but the 2000 could possibly be saved. I don't actually have a battery, so I can't tell you whether or not it charges when plugged in- I'm assuming it wouldn't, as nothing happens when turning it on while it's plugged in. After swapping the jack, switch, and button pad with the 3000's that I knew was working, I still have no sign of power, leading me to believe the problem is on the board. However, I don't know much about PSP's and there isn't nearly as much information on them as there are for Nintendo systems, which I'm used to working on. It also doesn't help that I can't really tell the difference between all the tiny boxes on the circuit board, which became apparent in my search to find a blown fuse. While I can't find any reliable diagrams online, the board thankfully has a few values printed, but I can't really tell what they correspond to. Could somebody tell me what I should be looking for/testing or other possible solutions? I have some pictures of the board, but I'm unable to post them here as I am a new user. If you can help and need the pictures, just PM me and I'll give you the imgur link. Thanks in advance!
