Thank you! I turned the motion controls off myself eventually. I did try your idea but turning the sensitivity down a little bit, it didn't really do anything better for me the only way I can seem to play the game in anyway ok is by turning the motion controls off altogether but I'm still finding the controls very difficult even though I'm putting many hours in I dare not go online yet because I think I will get embarrassed by the fact I'm no good.I use a Pro Controller for Splatoon 2 and have the sensitivity for motion controls turned all the way down (minus 5) plus the sensitivity for the right analog stick turned down by one (minus 1) but lately I've turned off motion controls completely and I'm doing pretty well while still keeping the right analog stick turned down by one.
I also have (HD) Rumble turned off from the settings menu (affects all games), I have previous Gears of War series and other 3rd person shooter experience (which helps) plus my TV has virtually no ghosting (motion blur) and very little input lag.
The only thing I can really improve is to go wired for my Switch's internet connection while using OpenDNS and Google's DNS servers, I don't plan on getting a headset for the Switch though because of the clumsy setup.
