Right now all I have is a Supercard SD and I'd love to give that to my brother. So I'm looking to get a slot 1 cart and don't know which one to get.

Help?

r4 or maybe even a cyclods, i have an r4 and it works great but i think cyclods is supposed to have the best firmware as of now, and it supports sdhc.. but r4 is great lol.. also i think g6 real is bad cuz i think a lot of ppl have homebrew problems and other misc problems as well

G6DS homebrew problems were only with 16Gb models, but has been fixed with the recent 2.3 firmware. I have an 8Gb G6DS, and I'm quite satisfied. Personally because I'm tired of having to buy new removable media, just for the DS. So even if the R4 is cheaper, you still gotta tack on the price of the SD card. Less fuss with the G6.

if flash mem / sd cards annoy you then go G6 Real...

R4, G6 Real, Cyclo all perform great...

If money is not an issue then go G6 Real....

If it is then go R4, so cheap and so good

I would wait a little longer (to see if they dont drop its support) on the cyclo but atm the its excellent...

either way you cant go wrong...

R4 seems to be dying out.

CycloDS and G6DS Real are the best choices as of right now.

CycloDS for features and classic SD memory.

G6DS Real for internal memory and interface.

No, like the R4 team is getting ready to pull out something new.

The R4 productions have slowed down, so have firmware update speeds.

They just released a new firmware last week. How exactly it's dying? There's absolutely nothing CylcoDS can do that R4 can't. They're equal right now.

Nothing that's too important anyway.

Slowdown is hardly useful, Wii connectivity is not useful at the moment, but it probably will be in the future, and I can't think of anything else the CycloDS Evo can do (though some of the tidbits are nice to have - eg. 3in1 native support)

It's also roughly the same price if you get a Cyclo Evo and 2GB card or a 2GB G6DSR.

microsdhc support and native 3in1 support

Right now, microSDHC support isn't too useful. Prices are still high, and are incredibly slow compared to their smaller counterparts. Native 3in1 support isn't that great either. Patching for the browser can be done, and rumble can be adjusted to each setting using the 3in1 tool.

However, I do admit that the CycloDSEvo is a great card, it's just not that hugely revolutionary over the R4. If they have realtime saves and that stuff, I'll gladly think otherwise.
