I figured you could just unpackage the .vpk files and install them using maidump that way.Like what maidump does.
Yes there is:Like what maidump does.
Is there another non complicated way? Like just downloading an app and install vpk files through said appYes there is:
1. make a copy of that vpk and rename it to mini.
2. open the mini vpk and delete the big files(usually +100 mb).
3. copy the mini vpk to the ps vita and install it.
4. next you copy the big files that you deleted from the normal vpk to the game folder in ux0:app/
5. launch the game.
There could be, if someone made an app like that. Try the method @Count Duckula posted. Is there another non complicated way? Like just downloading an app and install vpk files through said app
Wow this worked! Thanks man!-Extract the VPK on your PC (its just a zip file, associate it with winrar, 7-zip etc)
-Copy the folder with all the files to UX0: on the vita
-Browse to it in vitashell, press triangle and choose More | Install Folder.
I think theflow introduced this method (which just moves the contents of the folder rather extracting them from a vpk archive) about vitashell 1.5 or so. No need to use maidump or other tools.
I just noticed your name is mario lucis caelum lolWow this worked! Thanks man!
Yeah that's Noctis. Unfortunately I didn't get to finish XV cause *you'll get offended by this*.I just noticed your name is mario lucis caelum lol
Notice anything from my profile picture?
Now that would be a much more efficient way to install VPK....Wasn't there a pc utility that handled installing vpk to the system, especially game dumps?
