Hacking Jump Ultimate Stars problem

I'm unable to play Jump Ultimate Stars on my R4DS, it starts up fine, I wait for it to pass through the intro and the opening story comic which comes after you've pressed the start button, as soon as the first comic ends both screens go black and im unable to do anything except restart my DS.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before? playing with the latest firmware (1.10).

hmm.. strange, working just fine with me.. maybe try getting the ROM from a different site..

I've tried with a number of different dumps including the official one, all of them have the same problem, I've also tried using existing saves etc and the same thing happens, can anyone confirm that they've this working on 1.10?

Edit:
Found my problem, I had to manually copy it onto my SD card for some reason Rominator was breaking something (yes I tried both with and without trimming), anyhow to top it off the spring in my R4DS just broke.

That isn't the problem I'm getting, basically the spring just doesn't work anymore so I can't eject the card, I've to grab the card and manually slide it out, not to much of a problem really.
