Confused. You don't "get" that not everyone in the world lives in your local area and that regional supply shortages exist? This sounds like a typical post from 'Murica and not from France.
The thing is that i've been on 3 city in france and the main city of germany since it have been released and in all stores i've been, their were still plenty of unsold units
so i just don't get where you could live to not find one in your stores

So I wasnt able to pre-order a Switch for the whole two months before release. I ended up waiting outside gamestop for 10 hours with two other people to secure my walk-in day one switch. When I finally got it at 1am (Gamestop messed up real bad) I was so stoked I thought "whats another few hours?" and drove down the block and waited at Target until they handed tickets. Thats right I bought two of them (money i had accumulated in case i had to buy from a scalper). Now the second one I own has been hiding because i planned to give it to my sister, turns out she doesnt want it. How much do i sell it for?

Its a grey joycon switch with breath of the wild that i put up on craigslist for $500. Is the price too high? Is the price too low? Would you buy it?

I've had people already contact me but they were unsure of the price, i need suggestions

You've still got within the 14 days most stores offer for an open box return. Return it!

Be a hero. Return it and have a double win. Not only will you have the maximum amount (the same you paid because no one is going to pay more when they can go to the store and get it regular price), but now it can go to some one else you felt bad for not being able to get it at the regular price as well!

Or just lump yourself with the biggest gaming jerks in the world and wait for some one to attempt to buy it overpriced. You'll be an asshole, the other guy will feel lousy, and there's a bigger chance you won't even sell it because Nintendo is now doubling their shipping units.

Your choice.

Why are people so pissy about this? There is currently a small window where this thing is worth realistically 400-450... Sell it. Make a few bucks. It would be one thing if you were scalping it for 2K, and no one was going to get these back in for months, but that's not the case. If you're pissed because you didn't get one yet, sit tight. In 2-3 weeks, shouldn't be a problem, but in the meantime deal with the fact that in most places if you want it now there is a slight markup due to demand vs supply.

This whole thread is a massive troll.
He obviously never wanted any of your opinions. He clearly wants to scalp, and always did.

Don't feed the troll anymore. Let the thread die.

Bro all i can ask is, Is it about the money? Or is it about the wait? How much are you willing to pay to save weeks/months of your life

BTW i put it up on sale $500 and it sold within 4 hours, my phone was blowing out of proportion and it was hard to decide who to give it to. In the end i actually made very little profit but i know i choose the right person to sell to.

Ask for how much you paid for all of it, so, if there are fees then add an extra amount of money to cover it. If you really want to sell it then you better do it fast before Nintendo restocks it.

What did you sell it at?

When selling on Craigslist, you need to look at other listings and choose the average or slightly lower price. Going off sold eBay prices, I'd expect $360-$380, which is $425 - fees and shipping from eBay.

why are people overpaying for the console? lol here you can just go to most stores and nag one at normal price they arent sold out, heck i see them used for like 300 with loz included lol.

I dont know where you live but its sold out statewide where i live, i sold it for $500 (switch+zelda) withing 4 hours. There were so many people who contacted me for it asking for less but i held my price, and i did research and called most convenience stores to make sure they were out of stock to justify the $500.

So Stores were supposed to do a limited restock on March 22 or before/after and apparently they were sold out pretty fast because some people contacted me a week after i sold it. My ad was only on there for a few hours but these people kept my contact info and thought that i couldnt sell it for $500. While my ad was still active tho, one guy even called me and started bitching at me to sell the whole set to him for $340 or return it. I told him to go "eat a fat one" and that i was gonna keep it as extra accessories and "good luck finding one this year fagg*t"(he was a douchebag and was yelling with his kids in the background)

Congrats, I would of guessed $450 max for the game and console. You got a higher price than they are currently going for on eBay.
