I read that many of the "Brick" problems are PAL users updating with NTSC updates. Have there been many NTSC users that "Brick" because of an update ?

I want to buy a Wiikey or Wiikey clone (I know it may NOT be possible to update the clone) And I never soddered a day in my life, but it looks fairly easy. How many Wii games are out now that don't work with the Wiikey ?

I heard that the difference between Wiikey and the Clone is you have to run the set up disc... Does this mean you have to run that disc everytime, or just once?

Thanks a lot,

Elm

Hi, thanks for the offer, but my brother-n-law works for a cable company and is great at soddering. And i decided to buy a Wiikit which cuts soddering in 1/2.

Stock amateur...

The answers to your questions can be found all over the internet... But in your defense, the search function for gbatemp boards is a little lacking I have found...

I did look on the internet before posting this question and not much about Wiikit was found. But isn't that what forums are used for, to ask questions ?

Anymore I noticed after posting on any forum there are 2 kind of people that usually respond:

1) Arrogant people ( Marked by or arising from a feeling or assumption of one's superiority toward others) AND
2) Rude people who have nothing better to do then belittle someone.

...and I think you sound like one from the last category. Jesus! Just be glad that people are willing to help. When they criticise you it doesn't mean that they want to have go at you. It's got nothing to do with belittling someone! I also get sick and tired of people still asking questions like "How do I burn an ISO". I'm not to bright when it comes to these kind of technical issues, but I managed to find out everything I need to know within half an hour!

What is a Wiikit? If you are doing searches using "Wiikit" instead of Wiikey, that is one big problem in finding info.

If the Wiikit is just the name for a pre-wired Wiikey, then you still need to use "Wiikey" in your search terms.

With the Wiikit you have to run a setup disc, if you use an actual Wiikey you don't, and I wanted to know which files I needed to put on the setup disc. Other than that I was set on knowing how to use the Wiikit.

For your info I already have many Wii and Gamecube games burned, so I do know how , and I know what an ISO is! For your information I wanted to know what I needed to included on the setup disc, so I wouldn't screw up my Wii.

SO LOL LOUD TO YOU MORON!

Well I can sit here and criticize you for not knowing how to spell. it's criticize not "criticise". But I'm not arrogant or rude.
And no most people that make stupid-ass comments like yourself without helping me with the question "I POSTED". Then no I am not thankful for you helping.

I know how to burn an ISO, I wanted to make sure if I needed any other files that was with it to go on the setup disc for my Wiikit MOD chip. And if you and others are sick of people asking certain questions, then why do you bother reading that article on the forum then post stupid responses?
