ROM Hack Animal Crossing: New Leaf Save Editor

Okay, I need some feedback from old-school RAM hackers!

Bookmark this site in your 3DS browser:
http://usuaris.tinet.cat/mark/acnl_editor/rop/loader.html?acnldump2.dat&gardenram.dat

And try to dump RAM using the classic method with this new dumper.

It should create a gardenram.dat which is an almost perfect copy (needs checksum calculation and NAND secure value) of garden.dat.
Hoping it works for everyone, since I plan to turn it into the definitive RAM solution. Do not worry, the editor will convert the old RAM dumps to the new format.

EDIT: Oh, by the way, this means dream town dumps will also retrieve room furniture info ;-)

What do you mean?
Are you using the new dumper? There is no injector yet.

Marc, you seem to be good at garden.dat. Do you know the offset for light switches? my main room's light switch is broken and I don't think your editor can fix that ^^'

anyway the reason why i broke the save is because i wanted to make a better map, game didnt like it

you should make certain building positions being locked with the acres?

example re-cycle, townhall and plaza positions will be auto edited if you change the acre type/location, so the tree, houses, townhall are auto-locating

maybe too: add outlines for each building on the pixel map, so you can see easier if anything is conflicting (villager houses are 3x3 and the xy location is the bottom right corner i think?)

Except for those who want the town tree and townhall in a different Spot from the specific acres they are found in, this feature would be slightly annoying as they would lock to the acres assigned to them and wouldn't allow for one to do things like replace the Town tree with something else and put the tree on a different acre spot. Just make sure your new map has spots for your tree, exc.

uh so the game wouldnt glitch out for acres and buildings not being at their rightful places?

no, if you put more than two your save will fail to load.
