Hacking How to DS Lite NDS saves to DS Simply

Just got DS Simply for my son's DS lite. Can't seem to find anything on how to transfer the save files to the DS simply. Can this be done, and if so is it simply a matter of copying the save files to the appropriate folder on DS Simply? Any help would be appreciated.

what save files are you talking about? need more info. Are they from another flash cart?

I'm trying to transfer a number of DS game save files from my son's M3 DS Lite slot 2 cart to the new M3 DS Simply slot 1 cart. (eg...Nintendogs, Tony Hawk Amr Sk8land, Super Mario 64 etc)

I tried just copying the save file onto the M3 Simply, in the same directory as my game files, and it does not recognize that it exists.

Anyone have ideas?

Boy, do I feel like a tool. There is some sort of game save converter that came with the M3 and I completely missed it.

Anyway, tried it and still not recognized when I start the game. I will give Shunys a go. Thanks a ton.
