Good news but Ninjhax / Dean_ released CIA + Themehax installation is much stable though.

If a hacking group attacked your server persistently just for fun, how would you feel about it?

Not good I guess?

I don't understand? Why not build and upload to somewhere like before? You don't need to have your server public in that case. I stopped my builds because of you doing it good. ;-)

That's what was done. I changed my script to upload to both Dropbox and GitHub. I honestly just don't feel like I want to do it anymore. I know its no one elses fault so it may seem unfair that I don't want to continue but I am working on a final alternative.

Me and Nastys have planned to work on a program that installs the environment for building rxTools. I've written the Windows scripts and there isn't much left to do. It'll be an easy to use rxTools builder.

However, my view may change in the future. Just pissed about what happened. If anything, I'd just hook a Raspberry Pi back up that builds and uploads to Dropbox and Github. No server, no port forwarding, non of that.

For anyone who wants to build rxTools on Windows, here's a "kit" that I threw together that lets you do it.

Instructions:
  1. Extract the zip archive
  2. Run "1. Install_Env.bat"
  3. Follow the install procedures
  4. Run "build_rxtools.bat"
To remove the customised environment variables, run "2. Remove_Env.bat" and reboot.

That's pretty much it. Feel free to re-upload the kit to other file services, as Dropbox may actually remove it due to traffic (the file is 200mb+),

Is this compatible with 10.1?
All custom firmwares require 9.2 or lower
If you look further in the description you can see:
  • Full and free EmuNAND support, up to the latest version, 9.9
Emunand is a feature that emulates the newest firmware version located on your sd card.

Last edited by Adeka,
Can I update my CIA games through the eshop on emunand? Or do I have to install the updates manually?
