You can't. Sky3ds must use the header to function. Use No ban no Sky or Sky Army knife to inject your header into the template file.

I guess that too. because I started to access miiverse after I got banned. the first time I was using a public header and the second I just edited the template with my private header but I missed the chip id (I used the same number for all games on template)

and both times I was banned, I was playing pokemon

Do you mean don't access the MiiVerse when you're in a game? Or don't access it at all? I connected ONCE but I've yet to be banned(This was weeks ago-Maybe last month). My sister also goes on MiiVerse often and I think she's still doing okay.

Nobody hears you out because you are completely wrong. Public headers are not safe period. Connecting to Miiverse doesn't affect it. Yes, the system stores information about your games but it doesn't wait until you connect to Miiverse to send it to Nintendo. I'm sure that many of the people who were banned never even touched Miiverse.

When you streetpass somebody, you can see what title they last played. What in the would would possess you to think that a niché application like Miiverse is the only way for Nintendo to see it?

At this point you weren't banned because either you never go online for any games or you're just a ticking timebomb (or lucky).

And a note to anybody else reading this... If you want to go online either go .cia or GET A PRIVATE HEADER.

I'm certain that the only way for Nintendo to ban you is for you to use online features from in game. I've had my wifi on while playing games for several weeks now and I haven't been banned. I can still play my retail cartridges and see my online friends.

edit:
I doubt your system stores header info. If that were the case, you could be detected for having multiple games with the same header and banned.

then if I use a private header (not .cia because Im using sky3ds) I'll not be banned if I turn on street pass or access miiverse?
and I have another noob question.. I read somewere that if I inject my private header on the template, I must start a new game. does the old .sav file loads the data from public header or it is secure to me to restore the old .sav to the new rom with my private template?

I'm using 3DZ and CIA for my games, all my 3DZ games are patched with a public header (the MGS3 one), and I have friends who use the same ROMs as me and we play Mario Kart, MH4, Mario Golf and Animal Crossing together, all 3 of us using the same header at the same time. No one got banned yet.

We don't play Pokémon and Smash Bros, which I think is the main reason behind those bans. But claiming that public headers are not safe is a false statement, no one knows the real reason behind those bans, but if everyone accepts that headers are the reason, OK, but it's completely not true.

Write MH4U.3ds (that one I downloaded on the internet, not the backup I made earlier) on DiskWriter. I pressed OK after it warned me that MH4U was an EEPROM game and it will apply the header from the template (my private template).

Make a .sav backup of MH4U to check that my private header was actually applied on HxD. Yes! private header on the correct position

Restore MH4U 120h played .sav

Pull mSD card out, put it in Sky3DS cartridge, turn on my 2DS, start MH4U, character still exists, went online, still works

So, I then bought some items in MH4U, saved my game, pressed the blue button, made .sav on DiskWriter, opened it on HxD thinking the game would override the old header to the new one. It didn't, even though it generated me the .sav with the new private header first time (see step 7)

There should be a way to pair the save with the new header. I don't know for sure. xD

I tried to replace the old header for my private using HxD and obviously failed. when I open the animal crossing I see the new save but says he is corrupt and asks to delete. On pokemon alpha it appears a message that the save is corrupted and cant get out of that screen.
even if I did not restore the save file on this game... I dont know what to do.

Guys, I just bought my New 3DS XL and I want to use a flashcard. (I'm thinking about using Sky3DS).

What flashcard is the best today? And what are the chances and the consequences of getting banned? I'm afraid of not getting unbanned later hahaha

if i'm not mistaken, gateway doesnt work on new 3ds or new 3ds xl. your only choise is sky3ds. correct me if i'm wrong

if you got banned you cant play games online but you can access miiverse and eshop and you cant see if your friends are online. my first ban take about 3 weeks to unban. im at my second ban.. I hope it takes 3 weeks too... but use a private header to not get banned

so do you think i've been banned?
i went and i updated my emunand, i didn't even play my games online. everything was fine i was on emunand then thats when i updates my system so i could be on the latest emunand. and well thats when i started getting the error code. mine is slightly different mine is error 003-4199 but is still the same thing as in there is something wrong with the network connection.

so, i'm pretty sure i'm banned.

And I'm pretty sure that you aren't banned. Or if you were, it wasn't for this reason.
