Even if you did use a loader that updates don't you still have to delete your nintendont config.bin file on a PC to make sure there are no issues?

loaders supporting latest nintendont version with autoboot from arg doesn't use the nincfg.bin, so no need to worry about that.

I would still prefer a stand alone Nintendont updater that gives a warning about the cfg and deletes it and then renames loader.dol to boot.dol in the nintendont folder.

I've made a few Wii apps before and I should be able to maybe do it.

Would you like to download a new version of Nintendont?
(A = Yes, B = No)

Where would you like to download it to?
(A = USB, B = SD)

Downloading Complete...

Would you like to rename loader.dol to boot.dol?
(A = Yes, B = No)

Would you like to delete the config file of the previous version?
(A = Yes, b = No)

Done.
(Home = Exit to HBC, 2 = Exit to Wii Menu, Plus = Start Nintendont from USB, Minus = Start Nintendont from SD)

Actually, there is both boot.dol and loader.dol in google code repo  Both files are the same though.

That sounds good to me :)
That covers pretty much all the options and choices possible.
Neat!

To FIX,
I have been wondering...
What might be the cause that makes some games bootable only on Wii but black screen on Wii U?

How lazy can you be, if a manual update is required then make it happen. Don't expect FIX to use his personal time to cater to your needs. People have lives. I think his angle is usability over being feature rich. It functions great, saves games, and now has bluetooth. Its opensoure you implement the changes and compile your own then share it with others who seek the same features as you. I use the current version with UStealth compiled libs. I think its fine where its at. Lay off the guy people, if he needs input from us I'm sure he will ask. And many would heed his call.

This should be working :)

Well this stinks, i didn't realize bluetooth was disabled on this version. I was going to test the RE0 freeze with this since skull87 said it fixed it, but i don't have access to a Wii+gamecube controller at this time. The reason i say this is because the dial freeze still occurs on 2.167 and further on my WiiU.

Im not talking about FIX or Nintendont features here buddy I'm talking about a stand alone app that can update Nintendont itself so each time it's updated, sometimes twice a day, we can just go into the update app and do it.

Using a loader like USB loader GX already has this feature.

Built in or is it a plugin?
Also wouldn't that be annoying because when you update Nintendont, you have to wait for UBLGX to work with that new version too, at least that's how it used to work?

directly built in. Also I use this loader since nintendont 1.128 and I all updates works perfectly, until a major internal nintendont change comes, there sounldn't have any compatibility problems.

Right, then maybe now that I use a standard place for my games I will just use GX, since I can have covers also.
