Since Sony has admitted the mystery port is for TV out, has anyone worked on getting the pinout? I would assume it's HDMI compatible.

Where have they "admitted" that? Do you have any source for this?
EDIT: If you mean a recent interview with PSVita TV's designers, "having a built-in scaler" is not conclusive evidence - the scaler could just as well be used internally. None of the designers have mentioned the mystery port at any point - it remains a "Accessory Port".

Try, but they wouldn't have put a 1080i upscaler in for a 1/4 HD screen if they didn't intend on using it for TV out.

Sony thought about it during R&D, but quickly scrapped that idea. They forgot to remove the scaler on PS Vita.
I dont think you can forget to remove a piece of equipment that would add up to millions of dollars
