3D is not a gimmick,if it is,then Wii remote is also a gimmick.3D looks cool and adds DEPTH.It's not the same in 2D.Resident Evil:Revelations 3D strength on very strong is amazing. It really does change the feel of the gameplay.

I dunno if I have that problem or not, cuz I never turn off the 3D. Love the effect and doesn't give me headaches or anything. Hate having to wear glasses for 3D though, so I'm very happy with what Nintendo has done with their little handheld.

I actually have the same issue he mentions.
And i find my top screen rather yellow-ish compared to the bottom one, it just "fixes" when i turn on energy save mode on the screen brightness.

It is weird, just leaving the 3D mode turned on the minimum that makes the image ok.

When I turn on 3D,the yellow goes away.

The top screen is slightly darker than the lower screen. However, I don't tend to notice things that don't matter when playing games. I guess some people just get irritated by miniscule issues, perhaps due to an obsessive nature. I know I do, just not so much with screens.

You know everyone's eyes are slightly different a we each perceive things just a little bit differently.
Some may not notice a difference in the different modes while others percieve a significant change.
Look at the differences in the amount of 3D effect being the preferred amount by different individuals.

In this case, everyone can be right.
It is just how you look at things.

Exactly, each one of my eyes perceive different shades off color. Right one being darker shades than the left one.
And having this difference on eyes, any difference on colors tend to be a big hit on me, since i naturally notice too many diferent shades
at same time, even being small changes.
