Genre :RPG and variants, or games with RPG elements
Exceptions :Final Fantasy games, Kingdom Hearts games, Mario games, Castlevania games, Pokemon games, Zelda games, Dragon Quest games, Ragnarok DS, Phantasy Star Zero, From The Abyss, The World Ends With You, Chrono Trigger, Golden Sun Dark Dawn. Yeah, I know the list is huge.
Other additional info :I'm especially looking for RPG with MMORPG-like skills customisation (like Ragnarok DS, but better if possible), in English and/or French if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hmm, one I can think of that's kind of like this is my avatar.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor.

Other additional info I like all types of controls.
Jake Hunter(adventure)[optional button control]
A little like Ace Attorney, but with a cigarette button.

Ninja Gaiden DS(action)[touch and button required]
Controls like Zelda, looks like Devil May Cry. One button required for blocking.

Radiant Historia(RPG)[optional touch control]
Supremely epic plot and an unusual grid based encounter system.

Megaman Zero Collection(platformer)[buttons only]
All four Zero games from the GBA, can be brutally difficult at times, but is never unfair. Includes easy mode.

Scourge Hive(action-adventure)[buttons only]
A bit like Metroid, but played from an isometric view. An infection meter acts as a time limit which can be reset at save points, keeping up the pace.

I hope there's something you like amoung them.

N+
Genre: Platform/Puzzle
A good pick-up-and-play game; you have to navigate through rooms full of hazards in a limited amount of time.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Genre: Role-Playing
A tough, engrossing RPG. Can be quite brutal at times, and party set-up is extremely important. Excellent if you like customization in your games.

Avalon Code
Genre: Action/RPG
Similar to Lufia DS in playstyle, with one significant difference; you use "codes" garnered from enemies, objects, townspeople, and equipment to empower yourself and weaken your enemies.

Phantasy Star 0
Genre: Action/RPG
If you've played Phantasy Star Online, you've played this (also similar to Lufia). The big draw is multiplayer. Save anywhere adds to pick-up-and-play value.

Mega Man ZX/Advent
Genre: Action/Platform
Similar to Mega Man Zero, if you've ever played that. Less linear than traditional Mega Man games.

Kirby Super Star Ultra
Genre: Action
Tons of modes to keep you occupied. Meta Knightmare is a blast (play the game as Meta Knight).

Tales of Innocence
Genre: Action/RPG (or real-time RPG; I just call it "Tales RPG"
tongue.gif
)
The first DS Tales game to receive a complete translation. The main character is one of those boring wallflower types, but the rest of the cast is fun.

Rune Factory/2/3
Genre: Action/RPG/Simulation
Grow crops and battle monsters. 1 is the best story-wise, but 2 has better pacing (at least in the beginning).

That's all I can think of offhand.

Try looking up Knights in the Nightmare.
It's not exactly for everyone and most people turn away after realizing how long the tutorial is(though optional, it's extremely detailed and doesn't have to be done in one go).
It doesn't fit the additional info you provided though, and is all touch screen.

Genre Actions. No difficult puzzle games please.
Exceptions Legend of Zelda,Professor Layton,Ace Attorney (I don't like them because I am too tired to solve all the difficult puzzles).
Other additional info I like games with actions, fast paced, and the game can be saved in almost every moment(Within 10-15minutes should be okay). Simple games with exciting gameplay should fit me perfectly.I enjoyed Kingdom Hearts, Bowser Inside Story, COP The Recruit(I don't know why, I just like it lol). I don't really like games with very long story-line, would like to finish the game in a short period. KH:365/2 days and Bowsers inside story, COP The Recruit's story-line length will be the best.
Thanks before :)

I know this is bumping an old topic, but I don't think it's a better idea to start a new thread. So... yeah. I left the scene for a bit, so i thought i should catch up on the releases.

If you're looking for something like Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (which are the only Summon Night games for the GBA), you need to describe better what you expect from the game, because there's nothing exactly like it on the DS. Tales of Innocence and Tales of Hearts (both are Japanese-only releases, but ToI is fully translated, and ToH has one on the way, and the translator has released a demo, IIRC) have similar battle systems, but lack the sort of weapon customization seen in Swordcraft Story. You could also try Tales of the Tempest, but it's also Japan-only, and currently has no translation project associated with it, to my knowledge.

If the weapon system is what you're looking for, I'd say the Rune Factory games are the closest. The games are sim-heavy (you run a farm in a medieval fantasy style world complete with magic, dungeons and monsters), and combat plays similar to Twin Age rather than Swordcraft Story, but if you get far enough in the game (it can take a while), you can purchase a forge for your house and make your own equipment out of materials you gather from the dungeons.

Genre Games suited for a 7 year old
Exceptions text heavy games, as my nephew is just learning to read ;)
Other additional info I was thinking of Super Scribblenauts and maybe a Bomberman game so far. We once played a Bomberman game and he really liked that. Which other games would you recommend for a 7 year old?

Edit: What about Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky? Or might that be too text dependent? Never played one of these.
