Wow, this game with multiplayer mode would really rock. Hmm, the only problem is that everyone who plays needs a flash cart. Or will DoomDS be a multiboot game so you can remove the flash cart after booting?

looks promising. but those screens are not his actual textures. if you read above the screenshots in the media section you will see that:
"Level shots are just doctored images. They are shots of levels for the project taken from within Worldcraft.
False I know, but helps you visualize the game better."

still looks promising, and something to look forward to in the little DS

Really , really good stuff....

For me, it looks even better that Doom 64.

How could this project get released?

Mulirom multiplayer would rule :3
And id think that Doom would be able to fit itself in just 4 megs. If I remember right, 4 megs was almost alot back when the game first came out. Heck I was still messing with a 386 and a 30 meg harddrive O-o or soemthing like that, I always get my numbers all mixed up or wrong >.>;

But still, Doom should easily fit into the ram and be sharable. Co-op mode would be great

I'd pay for Doom DS.

I got Doom 1 in 5 floppy discs. Strangely enough, it provided me with someone's save after it installed. I forget how I got Doom 2 though. Along with Wolfenstein 3D (demo T.T), those were the days...

Sounds interesting, I still play the Doom Remake that used original WADS and that but added high res, 3D models and mouse look. I hope the N64 maps are done for the DS one too 'cos I felt that game was underrated just 'cos it wasnt all jazzy looking.
