I think bojzi, darkforce, kyoj and opium's skins are all great so I'm still deciding which one to pick..

I'm still a firm believer that we should use Squiffy's board design, his banner...except bigger (I really like the font on it, it's sleek, yet classic), and Opium's GBAtemp head-logo.

I agree with you on the first part, but yaxay.com isn't an example of good design - it's an example of trendwhoreism from back in 2002. These days, the "3D-lookalike-but-actually-very-2D"-looks are kind of outdated (especially with all of those unnecessary details & unless done right like @IGN.com). That, and they take way too long to load, especially on a forum.[/opinion]

True, i say we should stick to the original skin since it doesn't rape the bandwidth and i laughed my ass off on the trendwhoreism cause i fully agree with that. i know it's double standard, but i don't care

and i personally like the serifs that kyoji uses, since i like his designing style (i've told him before), but i felt that it was a bit out of place on gbatemp's banner

I would've voted for Dark's skin, but there's no GBATemp mascot on it!! Come now Darkforce! Bojzi's (I voted for his) is nice as well as Mr. Curlynose's black & white stuff...I dug that alot, but it wouldn't work to well for this site.

I liked the Opium GBAtemp Logo.

While my vote goes to squiffy.I also liked Bozji skin a lot but the banner was too colorful. I like simple designs so suifffy gets my vote.

I think it would be good if we could implement (sp?) different parts of everyone's skins into one for an even better looking one. e.g. bojzi/squiffy's skin design with darkforce's banner (just an example).

Oh that would mean that I should get the cart though for coming up with the idea

I think Bojzi's skin has a too large header and I don't like the buttons too.

Kyoji's skin is good for a small business website, but for gbatemp it just doesn't fit. GBATemp just says fun when you look at the name. Kyoji's skin is good in more of a professional way, but it's something I wouldn't want to look at each time I log onto gbatemp. The color could be changed. No offense but it seems like a puke green. It's very simple much like Squiffy's skin. Plus I don't think Kyoji was completely finished with the skin. Bojzi actually made his/her skin look like the finished product. Just that shows much more effort. So please don't go off calling us all blind. I can see just fine. As for the banner comment I actually enjoy being proud of my work. If I didn't have pride in my work then there's no point in wasting the time doing it. Yes the banner is a bit bulky, but it works. As for being gay I guess it could be gay. It does seem like a happy and fun banner. If you were refering the the slain use of the word "gay" then take a look at this image.

If this offends any homosexual members I'm very sorry. This was just to prove a point about the proper use of the word "gay" and to be slightly funny.
