I played this and was very impressed - it is tough but well thought out.
Im wondering what the legal stance on this game is - on one hand it does use ninty code and characters , but on the other its not for sale and there is quite a lot of caspers coding gone into it.

I presume this would still be seen as an illegal ISO and not allowed to be hosted on a website ??

i don`t have any problem with the game on multi player

maybe the game you have are corrupt
try to download again or use another loader

its only in world 1-1
i use the usb-loader gx 49
what one do you use ?

I played it with a friend, and ran into the level 2-3 bug. It's still doable with two players using yoshi, but it's obvisouly a bug (checked in reggie, a piece of the map isn't displayed).

Seems like the whole game didn't get checked, so, right now, only the first few levels are playable.

I'm looking for a save past the world 2 castle (you can convert one from the regular NSMB), or for a patched version.
I might patch it myself or convert a save if I find the time and right tools to do it, but i'm sure casper is currently aware of the problem.
...Or is he ?

EDIT : Patched Next levels iso, replaced the castle level and finished it.

Having a great time with this hack. Can anybody else download the fixed, version 2? All the torrents I've found have 60 seeders, but I'm stuck at 0.00%

. I have a usenet account, but I can't find it uploaded to any usenet site.

Hell, if someone just has the original patch file, that would be great. I love the game.. just keep ruinning into the 2-3 and world 5 pirahna plant glitches.

For level 2-3 in two player you can pass the roof where the pipe is. Jump on the second player head while this one, jump out of is Yoshi, then you will pass through the roof bloc. (Tested also with a mini-mushroom)

Just hook in the real New Super Mario Bros Wii when you reach world 2-3, finish World 2 with it, then save the game and load it when you insert the hacked version. Simple as that.

definitely 100% illegal. if it could be distributed without game code it would probably be okay (like, a patcher to add in or replace assets) but as a standalone ISO its definitely illegal.

seriously cool game! im trying to get the save file onto my wii but it doesn't work, when i do it throu data management it seems to work but it never shows up and when i use game save manager it just doesnt show up in the liist! what am i doing wrong?

Heya guys, I'm having a issue with saved games. I played upto 1-2 saved my game with 97 lives, when i went to play again it had me starting from the beginning minus the opening cutscene. So i was on world 1-1 with 5 lives. Anyone have any ideas to as why this might be? My original saved game works fine, it DID work having both saved game files in memory. Any ideas or thoughts of how i could get around this without having to save my game file to sd and move it back every time i play =(

edit: original saved game is super mario bro's wii the original version, it worked with having "next levels".
