cIOS r18 + 54b3 + herms v5
disable wiird+ocarnia: works
enable wiird+ocarnia with hooks: works
enable wiird+ocarnia with no hooks: black screen (this doesn't happen in 54b2)

So what's the conclusion?
I don't think wiird and ocarina work with every game, and every hook setting.
If you find a combination that works for you then fine, otherwise bummer.
I can only consider a bug to be valid for cfg if it works for a specific game and hook setting in gecko os or neogama but not in cfg.
I should say this again, I do not recommend enabling wiird and ocarina globally for all games.
Enable it for games you know are supposed to work with wiird/ocarina and you know what hook type it needs...

I thought "no hook" means disabling wiird & ocarnia which should just start a game just fine

No, that's not the same.
I don't know the details, sorry, someone who knows gecko os better will be able to answer that.

using option ios 222-mload or ios 224-mload results in "wii exception dsi occurred" stack dump, blah, blah etc. ?
Reverting back to ios 249 and usb loader boots up fine again.
Happened after i installed the latest v53a and Hermes v5 (222, 223, 224 and 202).

same thing happened to me:
52 with 222-mload and Hermes 222 v5 was stable
updated to 53a and got the crash right after cfg-loader bootscreen

reverting to 52

and - i love the loader

Would somebody with the error please post the DSI Stack Dump section so that the bug can be found?
Í'm a week out of the country, so i can't access my Wii, before next sunday, if it's not posted by then i will post it here.
here's the (clickable) screenshot with the errors mentioned above:

In NeoGamma you get "you are stupid" if you enable Ocarina, but select no hook. And this has a reason, but i doubt you want to be that rude too.

Of which version is this code dump error?
Please when reporting crash errors always include the exact version of the loader used or it doesn't help.
Also, can you try the latest (54b2) and check if the crash still happens.

I got that error with 53a.
But i just tested it with 54b3 and now it loads just fine with the option 222-mload, great

No it doesn't have that ability, because the modules that require changing are already built-in and can't be overridden. (or at least I don't know how) It has some FAT loading capability but it's using a slower method and only supports trimmed isos. FAT/NTFS works just fine with hermes cios 22x... and at the moment 249 doesn't bring any benefit. So I don't think it's worth wasting time adding that support.

So no plans for SNEEK support so far?
