Once this game is out, GBATemp is going to go insane, and I mean INSANE because everyone is so hyped about this title. Will this consume a lot of yout time and be DS GotY?

DS GotY: Almost 100%
Overall GotY: It has a really good chance, especially after the good reception with the E3 Demo.

If it delivers on everything it promises, Itt shoudl be GOTY overall.

Its one of the most ambitious games ever, on a hand held no less. And the fact that it has endless replayability, and is an original idea and not just another game in the same old genres should win it alot of fans. It could be the next portal.

I am super super excited about this game, and that rarely happens these days.

I hope it does well.

I could see GTA getting GoTY.
I think that it's funny how people are speculating about the game so much that they are saying that it will be GoTY, even though nobody has played it yet.

Even though I'm the one who started the news and hype thread, I'm not going to say GotY just yet.

Little Big Planet was supposed to change how people play video games forever and convert us all to PS3's last year and while it was released to good reviews it didn't really rock the world as much as the hype predicted.

I think Scribblenauts is the most original game scheduled to come out this year (with WarioWare Myself being a distant second). How well it's received by the general public and how well it's sustained by a dedicated community to create new instances and levels will dictate if it's Game of the Year, though.
