OfflineList 0.7 is out!
OfflineList 0.7, one of the most expected rom renamer / release list manager, was released today !
Here are the main new functions:
  • Multi-dat support - there are 3 dats available so far: GBA, GBC and PC Engine.
  • Advanced configuration of the layout
  • Configuration of new search fields
  • Update system re-made
  • Dat format is now XML
  • and so much more...
Two more things: first, you mustn't install OfflineList 0.7 in the same folder as OfflineList 0.6. And then, if you already have some pictures, don't bother re-downloading them: just cut/paste them in OfflineList's new picture directory.
Download it on the official website
Also, the French translation of VBA 1.7 is available here.

It seems that the pic downloader isn't working right now. GBC only goes up to number 2, then says there was an error. PCE won't do any.

I guess it's because:
PCE => no pics is available
GBC => a few pics are available..

or perhaps there are too many users downloading..

Wow I found out how to let this thing recognize my ROMs: I have to enable the renamer and set the path there (why the heck is general ROM Auditing connected to the renamer... whatever).

Next: Is it normal that EVERY TIME I start it over it scans my complete ROM folder and I have to wat every start 30+ seconds??

Next: Why does every program use a DIFFERENT picture structure?? - GBAfront has just numbers like
xxxx.jpg, GBArms has *x.jpg and now: 1a.png and 1b.png
sleep.gif

Damn should I store 3 times the same pics justwith other filenames that all programs are happy?!

Next: All Plugins are not recognized and do not work.

Yeah that's the next one:

I have all GBC ROMs 100% correct with Pocketheaven's release list and here 34 errors....

Oh and GBA: 100% correct with pocketheaven and here: 50% errors!!

Just curious and this seems to be the place to ask instead of starting a new topic.

What's the actual difference between GBArms and Offlinelist

they both seem to be the same kind of program

I'm still using the earlier version of OfflineList and got "Unsupported file type" error when double click on a game to play(using the 1.7 VBA, the 1.4 was OK though). Does anyone know what cause this error ?? Or if you know how to get it fixed, it'd be very much appreciated

I think the path to your emulator is wrong or not set. go to options and check all of your paths.
I double checked that and it was right. When I double clicked on the game in OfflineList, VBA 1.7 opened OK but then it gave me that error on every game. I didn't have that error with VBA 1.4 and others though

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
