AS ABOVE VLC player plays them just fine

you can stretch the video too ..... although too large and it gets pixellated

Well codec packs are free and so is VLC so you could try one of those. If you don't want to install a codec pack which people generally recommend you don't(though they work perfectly fine) then try VLC.

VLC
CCCP(Codec Pack)
K-Lite(Codec Pack)

I personally use K-Lite the most, but I heard CCCP is good. VLC is probably the easiest to deal with though. They will ALL watch FLVs if you set them to.

VLC like said. trumps winamp as well as a few others and no need to download extra codecs just update
