i dont like to use bmp. i save them as tga and then convert to tpl. the tools i use to do that are in WADder patch for animated banner, in the images folder. all you have to do is edit the TexConv.bat and ScriptFile.tcs. i get transparent images.

did you change the defcursor_final_p1, p2, p3 and p4? thats the ones with the color. so if you dont want the color just make it transparent._Contra_ said:

EDIT: No, I give it up...I've tried 32-Bit Images, Tga-Images, both with and no alpha-Channel, Compressed Ash, original Alpha-Color, etc...realy everything, and nothing worked...will now try to modify another part of the menu...AND IT WORKED:
Maybe I should just stop to change the Disc-Channel, and do the other things...
I pretty much extracted my 00000042.app with the health screen I wanted with the latest U8 Tool version and with Safe Mode on Vista and it took me about 20 seconds to do instead of 2 or 6 hours. Am I doing anything wrong or is my computer just fast?

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I had to rename the *.ash files to an *.ash0 file because ASH.exe only works with *.ash0 files. Is this okay to do or will it brick my wii? xD

If you don't want a bricked Wii extract 00000042.app with Howards U8 Tool. What are you specs (just interested)
And ash.exe supports .ash but if you want to keep .ash0 files just make sure to rename them after. And I have made a tool to make it easier for unpacking ASH files: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=136146
