What a disappointing game, the controls are all over the place. Even on medium mode, all the random misses take me down to 95% (which I should get 100% on as I'm rhythm game obsessive).
This game will likely never be played by me again, after the 8 songs I played on normal, it doesn't seem worth it to unlock hard mode.

IGNs only complaint which brought it down from a 9 to a 7.5 was the controls...

And I agree with ChrisRX, as a Bemani freak and former samba fan, getting 90-95% on songs because of the controls feels just bleh

the controls are not perfect, its really too bad, maybe with 2 wiimotes its better?

anyhow, this game works fine on 3.2E, no update on the disc higher then 3.2E!

Seems it comes with 3.3e.
And you can brickblock it to disable update, but then you'll get black screen.
Solution is: Just use gecko from homebrew channel and it will load brickblocked iso without problems.

@Kenji1985
Use gecko from homebrew to load game, it will work. I have 3.2e.

There is no v3.3 Update, i have 3.2 on my Wii and burned this game without using WiiBrickBlocker and the game started normal.

Unfortunately i can't play the game because i can't calibrate the game settings - selecting the lower circles by pointing the maracas (Wiimote+Nunchuk) down works, selecting the upper circles works, selecting the middle circles works
- but holding left doesn't work! (WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?)

i'm doing it just like shown on the screen but i can't calibrate it, what's wrong with that?

oh, and btw, game is NOT just english, it's multi(4 or 5) (i just tried english and german)

I brickblocked it and it ran just fine on 3.2E

Used two wiimotes, and its not great, but suspect it might take some getting used to. For example when calibrating it took several goes to get the wiimote position right for when both wiimotes are pointing in the same direction. The key was to not only point in the right direction but also have the wiimotes rotated so that the B button faced the TV screen. If one of the wiimotes was rotated so that it's face was pointing to the ceiling it wouldnt register.

So, controls are picky but might stick with it and see if I can find the sweet spots.

that's the key, you have to face the upsides of wiimote+nunchuk to yourself
.... man, that's weird, but i didn't try THAT

This disc has 3.1E in the update partition. There is no need to brick block it, since it does not contain 3.3E.

EDIT: Actually, I'm not sure anymore. The version numbers in trucha indicate that there isn't 3.3E on here (see pic), but it wants to update in my 3.2U system. Confusing...

EDIT #2: Ok, I just let it update. I'm still at 3.2U and the update went too fast to have changed anything significant. Maybe it's something for the DLC, who knows.

So in conclusion: the disc contains 3.1E. It'll want to update when you put it in, this update appears safe. On my 3.2U, it didn't appear to have changed anything. And btw, it works fine on a NTSC system.
