I totally understand your feelings. French is the lowering my average in school and I hate it too.

I'm Chinese and I know the English on the packaging is crappy as hell because the way they're directly translated and many of them don't come with any 'real' instructions but we'll just have to live with it. When I was in China and saw the English translations of everything I lol'd so hard at them... So don't take it in too much.

Cheers.

Yea, I understand that, but you don't have to say both of the countries. You could've just simply said bad English. Maybe I'm overreacting, so I apologize for that as well. But I have my own reasons. I'm not that sensitive. It's just that

And for you're information, I'm a Canadian citizen as well. I've lived here almost as long as I've lived in Korea. Didn't you read my Location? It says "Vancouver, Canada". You see the korean flag, because I was born over there, etc.

And does the back of a package really matter? I mean, who really reads the manual to fix things? Most people would go on the internet and ask the question to other people who have experience with whatever they need help with.

First of all, shut the fuck up about all this heritage bullshit. Nobody else cares, stop cluttering this thread with your bawww and "ur not PC !" finger pointing. Take it to PM if it really offends you so damn much.

but if u think bout it wont u save money since lets say its a r4 clone or w.e
u get the same thing but lower price
Now on topic, recent clones have generally been produced using lower quality parts, leading to higher defect rates, poor build quality, and even blowing fuses on your DS unit (N5).

Sorry 'bout taking it off-topic again, but this is just too good to pass up, when you complain about other people's bad english! I think you meant to write "allowed" there, didn't you? And there's supposed to be an apostrophe in "I'm".

Good thing you don't write flash card descriptions and manuals!

Oh, and before anybody attacks me for spelling/grammar mistakes: I'm not a native speaker, just a smartass!

I modified my above post after finding it on the N5 website. They still advertise that the N5 can use TF cards, but it apparently cannot.

A TF, or TransFlash, card is the same as a MicroSD; so it can support TF cards < 4GB. Unless you're saying the N5 can't run any card at all, in which case I'd have to start wondering why anyone still uses their N5.

It's just the N5 adapter all over again....

they even use the same description that was used with the N5 which came from the R4 and M3 simply..
Don't buy unknown crap like that....

You're right, I was thinking it said "HC" rather than "TF." I did a little research and apparently Chinese versions of the N5 were released in boxes claiming to have SDHC support when they didn't. In addition, some sellers were advertising an "R4 v3.0 3rd generation" which was advertised as having SDHC support, but turned out to be the N5 with no SDHC support (see http://gbatemp.net/index.php?s=&showto...&p=1012498).

This is written on the N5 English page:

QUOTE said:
N5 all Hold out SD-HC?4G&32G SD Card

If you do a Google translate of the Chinese page and look at the same text in Chinese, you get this:

QUOTE
N5 full support of high-speed large-capacity SD-HC, 4G & 32G SD Card

So my point stands -- it appears that the N5 is still being advertised as having SDHC support when in fact it does not.

Hi

I just got one of these Mars carts a couple of days ago and havin no problem with it at all. Tried it with 2Gb and 4Gb sd cards and works great and has a cool GUI intro screen.

It doesnt have that terrible spring clip they have on those M3 reals which i always seems to break and build quality also feels as good as the couple of R4's that already have. it also slides nicely into Slot1 with DS slot on the end.

Kernel software release was easy to download from ndsmars.com and worked first time. I picked mine up for £30 with a 2gb card thrown in from bentonvillemall.co.uk who appears to be only uk seller.

It could well be a very good R4 clone but for £30 quid i'm happy.
