I've been pondering a suggestion for a local that has broken under the strain of watching me play every single DS game released rather than being limited to the stock our one and only retailer can manage.
But when I see cart after cart released, and half of them seem like cheapo R4 wannabes.

I'm likely going to just let him make his own choice. But currently I suspect I would suggest Acekard2 or Cyclos.

The Mars looks to be just another fine example of what China's stance on piracy is all about.

Are you idiot or something? The only reason why I said it was insulting, is because the OP thought that Koreans and Chinese both are the same. That's pretty much what he meant.

Yup, it's pretty clear that the Mars group copied the FAQ from iTouch, but iTouch has no FAQ #7 (oddly it goes from #6 to #8) which Mars corrected, and Mars doesn't include the last several items from the iTouch FAQ.

The firmware looks like R4 and the packaging looks like the DSTT.

The statements on the website is nearly identical as the R4 one.

Money is money, and if money is to be had, a company will try and do it as cheap as possible, and copying an existing company's design saves money. :3

Who cares if their a clone, if it's cheap it's just one more option, if they raise their prices, then oh well, they'll go out of business (Eventually unless they have some good features) and there will still be more flashcarts out there.

the descriptions on the back of the boxes r messed and i hate the bad engrish and im canadian so im aloud to hate on the boxes since we (canadians) have to put up with the french on everything (nothing against the french i just hate the language)
