CFW Update help

Hi,

I haven't updated my switch in a while. I am/was on Firmware 19.0 so I thought I'd update my Hekate, Atmosphere and Firmware at the same time. I grabbed the latest HATs package (HATS-2026-09-27-a1129f2) and Firmware 23.0.0. I'm now getting an "Unknown PKG1 Version / HOS Version not Supported" error. I only updated the firmware on the SYSMMC-CFW side. My EMUMC-CFW appears unaffected and that is where I have all my games installed. So, I'm looking for some help on:
1. Fixing the SYSMMC-CFW, if possible.
2. Help determining what to do on the EMUMC-CFW side as far as updating the system firmware.

Here are the steps I took to do the upate:
1. I deleted the atmosphere, bootloader and config folders from the switch SD card
2. Copied the entire HATS package to the sd card and overwrote and existing files.
3. Copied firmware 23.0.0 to the sd card
4 . Booted up and into SYSMMC-CFW
5. Launched Daybreak and updated my firmware (successfully)
6. Reboot and error message

I stopped at that point as I didn't want to mess up my EMUMC-CFW setup as that is working.

Any help appreciated. Feel free to ask any questions to help clarify anything.

Those all in one packages are not recommended, I'm assuming they're not up to date and that's why you ran into this issue, download and install the latest version of Atmosphere and hekate:

stay away from prepackaged packages.

upgrade everything by yourself.

I was able to work my way through the guide posted by Impeeza: https://gbatemp.net/threads/ultimate-guide-to-upgrade-your-firmware-atmosphere.661148/ And was able to get SYSMMC-CFW working again!
