I think I remember when jumping from GW to Luma, I had to decrypt all saves manually under GW to be able to import them back under Luma, huge work.

Yes, Gateway saves have their own distinct encryption and there is presently no way of circumventing that without a Gateway. This is very well-established.
It seems there are issues with using aftermarket batteries like Cameron Sino or iFixit. The red battery LED and blinking red notification light starts to trigger much earlier, even if the battery can still last for at least an hour, the battery percentage is measured at less than 4%.
Is is possible for Luma to change the behavior when a setting is enabled/checked to indicate the battery was replaced with an aftermarket one?

The Switch pro controller battery is the same the 3DS uses, and if I'm not mistaken it's still being sold by Nintendo.
This doesn't apply for the other 3DS variants like the 3DS XL or New 3DS XL sadly
