Images for the rumoured Zelda-themed limited edition Switch 2 for The Legend of Zelda's 40th Anniversary have started to leak online.

The leak shows only the cardboard box that holds the actual console, not the console itself, but it gives a good glimpse at what the console and its controller would look like. The console itself has Joycons with special green and golden colouring to them, with the right Joycon showing some green motifs, and the left Joycon having the classic Hylian symbol on its lower left corner. The Dock for the Switch 2 also showcases a special design, with a big Triforce showing on the front of it, as well as some motif designs around it to accompany the Triforce.

As for the controller, it follows a similar motif design to that seen on the Switch 2's Dock, with several Triforce designs on its front.
It's still unknown when exactly whe limited edition console will become available, but given how the console has already leaked, it's likely that the announcement will come in the upcoming days.

When we get an OLED NS2 with replaceable batteries that'll be a must own.

I'm very happy with NS2 as a home console, not really that much as a handheld for me.
Also when it gets holed fully. Just imagine all homebrew that Switch 1 has and is getting (likely will be easy to port, since it is backwards compatible). Maybe even PS4 emulation will be doable on it.

With what would soon be the Switch 2 going up in price, I'd rather you keep what you have unless you're a mega fan for Zelda and have lots of income for the ride. Limited editions are more rather collectors pieces than something you'd use for a lifetime.

It was a shame Nintendo didn't do a better Zelda edition for the Wii U.
And it's a shame that the Wii U never took off. If they had gotten more 3rd-party support, better marketing of the system, and remove all of the issues it has like the automatic updates on startup and fewer online features that barely anybody used like Nintendo TV and Wii Street U, then it would've had some success for a while.

The Wii U just looked like a longer Wii, and it would've been better if Nintendo simply called it "Wii HD" or "Wii 2" which as generic and uncreative as those names are, they are much more clear and straight to the point.

I never thought of the Wii U as an add-on for the Wii, but that's because I knew what it was and I purchased. For its time, I really enjoyed the Wii U, it was like a Beta Switch 1.

OLED devices are more desirable so it's understandable it'll cost more. Not to brag, but I'll be ordering a Sony OLED 55" and that costs far more than I've ever paid for a TV although I'll just pay in installments interest free (don't want to pay all at once).
Mfs really bragging about getting on payment plans smh
