Hi everyone!
I’m happy to release the first public version of TICO Assets Downloader, a free Windows companion application designed to make managing artwork for a TICO game library much easier.
Instead of searching for every cover, background, icon, and logo manually, the application scans your TICO library, searches for suitable artwork, converts it to the correct format, and organizes it in the appropriate folders.

Requirements
- Windows 10 or Windows 11
- A TICO game library
- An internet connection
- A free SteamGridDB API key
The program is distributed as a standalone Windows application. No separate Python, PowerShell, or .NET installation is required.
Installation
- Open the GitHub release page linked below.
- Expand the Assets section.
- Download
TICO-ASSETS-DOWNLOADER-by-TCJ-v1.0.rar. - Extract the archive using 7-Zip, WinRAR, or another compatible application.
- Run
TICO ASSETS DOWNLOADER by TCJ.exe. - Enter your SteamGridDB API key and select your TICO folder.

The application is completely free to download and use. This is a binary-only release; the application source code is not included.
GitHub automatically displays “Source code” ZIP and TAR.GZ files for every release. Those automatically generated files contain only the public repository documents. To download the actual application, select the RAR file from the release assets.
Feedback
This is the first public release, so feedback, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome. If you encounter a problem, please include your Windows version, affected system, game title, and any relevant error message.
Please keep your SteamGridDB API key private and do not include it in screenshots or bug reports.
