lmao

I'd say that needs a little more context by using his entire tweet, but in reality, it's pretty accurate like that.
Oh god, yeah, I only clipped it like that because the context is right there. Its just wild to see anything like this coming from The President of the United States, though I really should be used to it by now.

LOL!!

TLDR: 'I broke the law and illegally took soooooo much money that if you hold me responsible, it'll ruin the entire country.'

...this coming from a guy who (yet again) threatens 100% tariffs on the EU and UK just yesterday.

Well yeah, I'm not surprised by anything that comes out of his moronic brain anymore. I remember after this gem of a brain fart I had to double check because I thought it was a joke. Literally outright saying that he will do war crimes.

Didn't the US representatives tell Iranians to ignore the tweets as they are meant for domestic consumption

What is wrong with the people that voted for and/or support this individual?

Did they? Because if so, that's pretty embarrassing to say that the leader of a country can't be taken seriously when he talks publicly. On top of that, there's no way that's even fit for domestic consumption.

At this point I think shorter list to make is "What is NOT wrong with those people".

Yeesh! What a frigging joke! They have the balls to say:

"According to a White House spokesperson, there are “no conflicts of interest.” The White House has said that Trump’s investments are managed by independent, third-party firms, and that his children control his assets"

So sure, this independent third party firm just guessed that the stock of some taser company would go up without knowing that the government would give them a contract that would quadruple their output.

Remind me again what they nailed Biden to the wall about? A loan to his brother? God damn it these people are absolute bottom-feeding scum.

Trump must have quite a poor relationship with his children if "their" crypto products do not present a conflict of interest for Trump.

Just a big coincidence that such products prominently feature Trump, benefit from Trump's extremely pro-crypto position, and that the crypto industry is funneling millions into the Republican Party for elections.

Yeah, crypto is probably Trump's largest corrupt payout grift.

- Brainless followers funnel money in it in dreams that it will make them rich
- Foreign countries funnel money into it for prefferential treatment
- White collar criminals use it to bribe for pardons
- Any transfers cost money to go directly to him

If/when the democrats can take the house and senate, this will be the first thing they nail trump to the wall for. It's so cut-and-try that litigation for a normal person would take a single day.

Don't forget:
-cryptocurrency is notoriously hard to track or quantify (possibly because it's relatively new)
-extremely volatile value market
-no assets to seize in case of a scandal

Compare it so, say, the famous tulip bubble. If bitcoin was that, you'd see crates of tulips being moved around and those things have to be SOMEWHERE. Just that traffic of those crates can be intercepted or stolen means it can be seen, there's a paper trail and there's traffic time on that as well. But cryptocurrency is just virtual: without proper clearance you can at best guess how much is being paid by whom to whom. Hence why the word "probably" is key here: just exactly how much bitcoins, trumpcoins, memecoins and who knows what else kinds of coins are owned by Trump's inner circle? And value is even harder to determine, as what it might be worth now might change tomorrow.

I'm probably missing some aspects, but yeah...crypto has a lot of benefits if you want to do shady deals (probably for non-shady deals as well, but there's this thing called "money" that's more commonly used)

Blockchain money is quite traceable, as transfers are all permanently recorded on a public ledger. But it can be moved around to obfuscate. The bribe comes from Trump owning a large portion of his coins, then if large purchases of the coin is made, it makes his held coins go up in value, thus giving him money in his pocket that he can cash out on any time. It's definitely volatile, but if people keep pumping money into it, it's a stock that will keep going up. Investigators would determine what a transaction was worth at the time it occurred.

If an investigation is done into this and countries were found to have bought this coin for favors (Pretty undeniable from the outside), they can still seize private keys through warrants, push the exchange to freeze the funds, seize company assets, bank accounts, or other properties.
