Ocarina of Time. I got distracted from it for a while, which happens for me sometimes and is not a reflection on how good the game is, and now I'm delaying the endgame until I've found the last couple of fuckin' golden skulltulas. Oh and a couple of other little side tasks.

I've got a ton. Some that come to mind:

Zelda WindWaker - I got to the triforce hunt part and it was such a long, boring, tedious grind that I said F it. Tried again years later and had a guide and everything, and even with a guide it was way too tedious to want to complete.

Metroid Prime 4 - I bought a Switch in 2019 for this game, that's how big a fan I am of the series. When I got it, I had read mixed impressions online but figured it's better than what people were saying. Nope. It's just kind of soulless feeling. I got the bike and didn't enjoy it. Hated how forced progression was in a linear route. Areas felt pretty generic overall. I got half way through the ice area and was so bored I haven't touched it since the week it came out.

FF6 - I've started it over 20 times, made it to the WoR maybe 5 times, but as muchbas I like the game it overstays its welcome for me. I get burnt out collecting all the characters in WoR and never seem to finish it.

Perfect Dark - One day I'll finish it. Just got an N64 style controller for my switch and I'm working my way through all the games. Loved Goldeneye but at the time PD came out I was more focused on PC shooters like Counterstrike 1, Unreal Tournament, etc. When I did play PD it was for the exceptional split screen death match mode.
