Normally, you have to remove the kanji ROM for it to display English (which means you won't have the Kanji ROM present when you play games).
I did this back in November and got sidetracked with a different romhacking project and I haven't had time to add to it since. Rather than just sitting on it longer, I figure I should share what's done, as it's completely functional and maybe 80-90% translated.
Most of the text is what the author put in; some of it is changed. There is still some Japanese text present of course, but I don't know when I'll resume this project and surely at least one other person might wanna play some PC-88 on the wii between now and then, so here it is:
