Russia directed arson attacks against UK's Prime Minister, along with false-flag operations to benefit real and fake far-right groups

The level of scrutiny being applied to your claim is the literal lowest possible, like, "who even said it". I'm not even asking for what proof they have, just, literally a single shred of information so I can see their claim and assess it?

The same scrutiny is being applied to the BBC's story, as you can tell because I can actually name and link to it.
The fact you can't even say whose story your claim comes from just makes it blatantly obvious that even this most basic level of scrutiny is too much.

Do you think its possible that these random accounts you've heard might not be true? You place a lot of faith in people you can't even remember.

Oh, hey, I found a screenshot of the original tweet. It took me ten seconds of googling.
Either reflect on how you fell for something so lacking, or prove me wrong. If you can't, uh, what the hell are you doing here?

You probably didn't have to redact out that name. It's probably him saying it in the first place, and he's just relaying what he said himself on this site.

Oh, I didn't, that's how I found it. I'd have redacted it better if it was me. I could likely find an unredacted version, but it's not like it changes anything. The name is just useful to find them so the strength of the claim can be assessed.

If someone were to take issue with it being redacted, I think that's a bit pointless but I would certainly welcome their push for accountability. It would be rather weird to ask for something like that without doing the same themselves, after all. That'd be as ironic as berating me for levels of scrutiny in the exact same post as "I heard someone say it"

My best guess for who the someone is would be Tommy Robinson, or at least some second-order right-wing influencer repeating their post. However, Tommy has no proof and a known history of lying, so that'd look bad.

Maybe it was when Russian politician Kirill Dmitriev repeated the claim? But not even he could point to any evidence, it's all in a question mark. But it would be very, very funny if the BBC gets dismissed for not being neutral on Russia, and so we have to go to Russia, famously known for being neutral about Russia.
He also posts nonsense like this.
