Hello,
I’m working on a EDM-010 digital PS5 with a 2 seconds BLOD.
The power-up sequence seems correct. The current rises to 300 mA and then drops back down to about 7 mA.
When I try to turn on the console, I get a BLOD of about 2 seconds during which the current rises to about 1.6A, then drops back down to 7 mA, then rises again to 300 mA, and finally drops back down to 7 mA.
I checked the voltages, and the 1.15V rail rises and then drops back down to 0V. I checked the voltages around some buck converters, and the PGOOD signal seems to be good.
I measured a slightly strange voltage around the diagnostic chip. It rises to 1.15V during power-up and then drops back down to 0V.
I suspect either a dead APU or a corrupted BIOS.
What do you think?
Thx
