Thanks for this mate, this was indeed very helpful on guaranteeing that the syspatch is running on the 22.1.0 version

Hello all, I could use a little help if you can enlight me (sorry if i'm a newbie with this x)).
I'm currently tunning Hekate + Atmosphere on my emuMMC in my Switch.
I was trying to install Tinfoil, but every time I do (tried already self installer, applet version, NSP file install through goldleaf), I get a blue screen mid-instalation.
I did a clean install yesterday and I have:
- Hekate - hekate_ctcaer_6.5.2_Nyx_1.9.2 (obtained from github /CTCaer/Hekate releases page)
- Atmosphere - atmosphere-1.11.1-master-d04c20a04+hbl-2.4.5+hbmenu-3.6.1 (obtained from github Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere releases page)
- Firmware 22.1
- Followed the guide from switch hacks.
- Installed sys-patch 1.6.2
- Installed Tesla Menu to overlay see the syspatch 1.6.2 is running (as i mentioned in my last post);
Everytime I try to install tinfoil I get a blue screen tho (can't post images here yet ).
Does this mean that I have to go with DBI or is there some way to be able to get Tinfoil running here?
EDIT:I'm currently trying to install DBI and see if it works for my needs as well.
if you want to use tinfoil there is an alternate atmosphere that is patched to be able to run it maybe try that. there is also another one that works with tinfoil called keifer which is another fork of atmosphere that also is patched for tinfoil i am using the one made by jecoteco here is a link go ahead and try this if you want tinfoil https://github.com/jecoteco/Atmosph...eleases/tag/Atmosphere-1.11.1-Tinfoil_Patched

it depends on what you want to use cyberfoil for it has potential but the dev only supports eshops that are from your own server and the way it sorts the games is a pain it gets mixed up between updates and base and just puts them all together personaly i would avoid cyberfoil and just use jecotecos atmosphere and tinfoil less isues that way

I just said that i assisted in allowing cyberfoil to use any and all existing tinfoil shops.
you can literally configure cyberfoil with your login credentials (if you have any) and continue where you were in tinfoil, now in cyberfoil using the cyberfoil tinfoil protocol. (and pass any and all security checks, if shops has any, as the same UUID is calculated / headers passed that tinfoil sends, the exact same)

it is a fork of Awoo Installer, not tinfoil.
it however is inspired by tinfoil and adds a lot of features tinfoil had.
yes it does work with public eshops but when i last tried it there was no seperation between updates dlc and the base files nor could it tell which was installed and which was not and it would not let me select sperate updates or dlc like tinfoil does i reached out to the original dev about this and they basicaly told me they werent going to do anything about it as they wanted it only for home server eshops that are comprised of our own back ups. now im not mad at the dev for this choice just disappointed because cyberfoil has a ton of potential but until the the ability to to be able to select dlc and updates seperately is fixed im sticking with tinfoil one example of what im talking about i have for example diablo 3 installed and in the eshop with in cyberfoil it has all dlc and updates together with the installed game and no way to install the dlc thats not installed because it does not know the difference it just puts them all together assuming they are already installed when they are not.
hello, i recently got a bought a brand new hacked switch, installed a game, it works well, installed second game worked well too, problem is that i closed the second game too play something else and when trying to start second game again got "the software was closed because an error occurred" message, tried installed the same game again but its still giving the same error

its open source and he's very agreeable, as i have interacted with the cyberfoil dev several times.
either you are bad at explaining your idea / needs, or you don't know what you actually want (poor UX/ bad design/poorly worded suggestion)
want a change? implement it and send a pull request, with proof the behaviour works as it should, and he wont mind. (remind yourself to use the dev branch as basis before wasting time)
the change you have to implement is minimal,
program in a title id check
ends with 800, most likely update
ends with 000, most likely base game
ends with neither, most likely dlc
and so on all parts of the process benefits from it, so yeah

so i probably did not explain correctly so when i used cyberfoil i added the eshop that i use then when i accessed said eshop it loaded everything but in the interface there was no way to be able to install the dlc or updates say for example i want mario wonder so i select and it only gives the install option with out showing any dlc or updates lets say now i install mario wonder and there is an update available there is no way to know this using cyberfoil infact what happens is when you select the installed games tab the update will show up there in the list as if its been installed when it has infact not been installed as for implementing it myself i am not a coder and i mean no disrespect to you or the dev of cyberfoil i am just explaining my experience with cyberfoil and it did not work correctly with the eshop i am using maybe a better way to explain is this in tinfoil you select newgames to access the eshop the type game name for example dbz kakarot once you find it in the list you select it the a new window pops up that gives you the option of what you want to install for example in the list you get the option of where you want the game to install sd card or nand you the option of install all available dlc and the option of latest update and when you select install everything availablfor that game will download and install with cyberfoil all you get is install and it only installs the base game no updates or dlc and any updates or dlc get catigorized in the installed games section without having been installed if you could get the dev to fix this so it is more like tinfoil when you select a game to install that would be awesome also has there been any updates of cyberfoil recently because the version im running is 1.4.2 if there are newer versions maybe this was already fixed but when he spoke to me it sounded like he did not want touch it so im super confused now but if he can fix it that would be great im also wondering if this is specific to the eshop im using i cant name it here but i can say its related to things that go boo in the night anyways thank you for your response and the hard work you do on developing sys patch and everything else you do

ask claude 5 fable to do what i said for you, and you'll most likely get the pull request accepted.
you just have to split the interface/ui for the page into 3, naturally, one for updates, one for dlc, and one for base games, and key them by the titleid endings for which belongs where
side note: no one likes idea guys with demands; want something? work on it and implement it.
or word it precisely enough that a LLM can do it for you.
