I have to apologise for my bad English and/or punctuation/grammar problems as It Isn't my first language.
The platinum saves (at least between the USA ver and JP ver) are interchangable. After frankensteining a USA save to work on the JP version, It reads and picks up the platinum notification; however due to the fact that I only have the japanese version on TwilightMenu++, I can get as far as to the distribution stage before the wii kicks me out due to inactivity (this isn't present In the USA ver of MPR, the DS cart kicks out the player due to inactivity.. I'm guessing that this Is one of the differences present In MPR and MPRPT .narc files, anywho, weird...).
So, I tried modifying the actual save of the channel. PKHeX actually supports MPR to my surprise (alongside each pokemon wii game i think). You can import the ENG pokemons or JP pokemons from there to be readable In MPR.
Here's the pokemon In PKHeX (used the event pokemon as they contain the most unique data):
And here's how they look In MPR:
In-game pokemon events (not distribution ones, no clue how those work in this game) do get normally triggered :
All the pokemon which you move this way are treated as "Hayley's" pokemons.
I'm guessing this has to do with the fact that MPR registers the cartridges that send their pokemons, and since It finds a bunch of random pokemon In the save without the ID that corresponds to the game, It just gives them the default one. Thanks Ambrella for inputting this failsafe!
Funnily enough, they retain the data that they had prior to moving. No hayley In sight aside from some of her pokemon's. And, they still remain "clean" per-say In PKHeX. Somebody would have to drop the MPR pokemons to Home to see If they're still actually legit. But, at this point, this app's just a novelty when PKSM exists... I guess the event pokemon do exist there though, some people hunt for the exclusive pokemon from those games.
Only thing I'm wondering Is why do the MPR pokemon have the TID clear? I'm gonna assume that It just gets added during the pokemon transfer between MPR and DPPT. Still, It's not like adding the additional data Is really hard, not sure of the "From MPR" notiffication though.
