Hello, all! I just made my first texture pack yesterday (sprite edit for Rydia in FFIV:CC for the PSP) and had a lot of fun working on it and cutting my teeth on modifying games. I figured other people might enjoy it and if I keep on my romhacking journey I hope to share any other projects I make in the future. I'd love to receive feedback and learn from you all!
I've always done art as a hobby (ballpoint pen is my favorite medium) and eventually got into cross stitch and making my own patterns. That transferred really well to making sprites, so I've been learning a lot while helping a friend on a game he's making.
I really want to expand my skillset by learning to program and this seems like a great hobby to get into by leveraging my experience in art to compliment what I'm hoping to learn. Unfortunately all I know so far is SQL and VBA, but I'm hoping to focus on Python next.
I'm excited to join this community and meet you all!
