I tested this release with your cfg and yes It is auto booting through WiiFlow Lite but I have not been able to get input working this way.

Launching through hbc works and allows input cfg to be set correct and playable but the input cfg does not work through WFL. :(

I am happy to test more if any changes are made in the future.
I've pushed a new build that should fix it. I didn't notice it because I was using a GameCube controller, can you try again and let me know? Thanks!

I've admired your work for years -- nearly a decade. I've always been impressed and loved your "hi-res texture packer" and used it on wiiflow especially with textures packs for starfox, banjo, OOT, and sm64 which all have some really cool community made textures out there. The one big problem though is it can only load one graphic pack at a time -- i.e. only a file called "texture.pak" can be loaded from the singular location where it exists. For example, if I want to use it on banjo I have to take my texture packed banjo file, name it "texture.pak" and put it onto my sd card in the correct location. Then later, if I want to use the texture packs for mario, I have to pull out my sd card, and rename the mario texture pack to "texture.pak" and then load the game (since only one file named "texture.pak" can exist in that hardcoded SD location at a time.)

I wondered if there was a way for your Wii64 Rice (Hi-Res pack enabled test build) to be compatible with a couple different texture.pak files in the same location (banjo.pak, mario.pak or even texturepak1.pak, texturepak2.pak etc)?
I'll add it to my list of things to dust off, but Not64 has likely surpassed Wii64 by miles at this point in many other ways.

I didn't see a link for the new build at git?

Edit:
I found it! .... I will test and hopefully get back with good news:)

Working beautiful!!!

I have already added it to the plugins pack, I'll have the updated pack uploaded tonight sometime.

Thanks for this great addition.:)

Hello, thanks for the good work all the community. Trying to make my favorite neogeo set on wiiflow instead of buying this silly aes+ :)

Today I put some tim into finding a way to get wiiflow display real fancy names on boxcovers for RA_FBAlpha core plugin (or Heaxeco core plugin) , instead of samsho, samsho2 etc... ? Search some and IA but nothing works...

EDIT Solution is here : https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-gre...m-a-call-for-adventurers.563575/post-10855537

Thanks to @RunningSnakes

obviously wiiflow doesn't mount your USB HDD for some reason.
there is no default wiiflow_lite.ini. even if there was it wouldn't do you any good because wiiflow doesn't need it till after your usb hdd is mounted. which wiiflow fails to detect and thus exits to the HBC.

one thing to try:
1. delete the wiiflow save file in vwii just like you would delete any save file.
2. download and install wiiflow 5.6.1 from github
3. download this boot.dol i posted a few posts back. here's the link again - https://www.mediafire.com/file/5qtgngwo3y1wgke/wfl_nand_source_fix_2.zip/file
4. replace the boot.dol with this one.
5. now run wiiflow and see if this helps. you might also try plugging your usb hdd into a different port if possible.

if this doesn't help then try a different usb hdd.

Hello all,

I've been trying to install wiiflow; I had the issue with wiiflow briefly loading the logo screen and then crashing, so I found this post and downloaded the new boot.dol. It doesn't crash anymore, but now it is infinitely stuck on the animated logo screen. Does this sound like some issue with the file structure or something?

any help would be appreciated!!

all covers (wii, gc, plugins) have to be on the same device (sd or usb1). you can't have wii covers on SD and plugin covers on USB.
Late thanks for your reply. Ok for boxcovers device
My HDD is hooked up to usb1 (bottom port when console is flat standed). it's the only/best port to plug in ?

Do you launch from hbc or forwarder
Do you install the plugin pack 2026 ?
What is your storage setup ?
Do you follow the tutorial here ?
Other important information ?
😉

1. I've tried both hbc and forwarder, and gotten the same results
2. I did install the 2026 plugin pack
3. I have WFL on an SD card (I've checked and made sure that it is not write-locked), and my games on an external hard drive. Both formatted to fat32
4. I didn't; I was following this tutorial: At a glance, I don't see anything too different between these, but maybe I should start over?

Maybe yes if you have a spare sd card even small 1gig, start over. cIOS are installed ?

I have some critical bug crash. I was exiting RA-Fast (pc-engine cd), while unplugged gamecube, to plug wiimote+classic controller, then wiiflow crashed, and don't boot again. It throws me DSI error on boot...

cIOS installed, yep. Wii's at my girlfriend's place so I'll try reinstalling everything next weekend. Thanks!!

Someone have an idea ? What are the files written when closing RA ? SD Datas corrupted ? I think I'll put everything on USB.
EDIT : delete wiiflow_lite.ini solved my issue

I was able to get it to launch by reinstalling everything & putting it on my USB SSD. I can get all the way to launching a game, and then it shows a loading bar and then gets stuck on a black screen. Feels like I'm stuck on the final step!!

On my PAL Wii many Wii and Wiiware games, I guess us versions, starts all red on my crt with rgb.

What video settings combo I should set (system or/and game in wiiflow), if there any, maybe an app ? Some works with pal60 metroid trilogy don't.
Do you know others workarounds ?

If not, my guess is to find ntsc console, but I'll loose rgb. Or find europe counter part games for those that are problematic, but not everyone will be 60hz ?
