I recently bought a broken Nintendo DSi as an attempt to repair it.
Last owner tried to bypass the fuses, my best guess is that they used a bad third party charger since the one that came with the console is for a Japanese socket.
In their attempt to repair it they soldered of a capacitor right next to one of the fuses in which i suspect that's where they gave up.
Luckily that capacitor was still on the board stuck on the pcb, tested the component and it still worked, So i got that fixed pretty fast.

Now even tho i fixed the last owners attempt and made sure both the fuses was bypassed (my plan is to get new fuses but i wanted to see if it worked) it still won't boot.
I did have a look at KIlly728's master list and eventually came to the conclusion that this problem isn't as common.
Since the charge light stays lit, the battery is at 4.2 volts which supposedly is fully charged, and when i press the power button none of the screens or led indicators light up.

So i had a look around the board with the help of gorgyrip's very helpful schematics of the board to see if another component got thrown off of this board (C-TWL-CPU-01) by the last owner.
I ultimately found nothing missing on the board, but i did find a small dent on a specific capacitor right underneath the B button, took it off the board and wouldn't you know, it was dead!

Now my current problem is that i have found no data on what kind of capacitor this is, gorgyrip's pcb schematic tells me it's a size C1206 Capacitor and that the component number on the board is C33.
There is another capacitor (C30) right next to it at the same size and they're supposedly connected to each other, i would suspect that they're the same value but that seems far too easy and i don't want to ruin this board more.
Is there anyone that knows what values this capacitor is supposed to have?

A normal person would buy another board to either replace or read the value of a fully functioning capacitor, and if i can't solve this i will probably do just that.

But before i do that i thought to test my luck on this forum to see if anyone could help me with this.
Thanks in advance!

Also. This is my first time posting on this forum, if i did something wrong with my post then please tell me so i can fix it.

@gorgyrip 's schematic includes a list of components (BOM.txt).

C33-47UF
I took a look at the files again when i read your message and it literally says in the READ.txt on TWL-CPU-01

"compared to twl-cpu-10 All components are the same, from the same manufacturers, have the same values, are placed in the exact position"

Then i went into TWL-CPU-10 and there was the BOM.txt file you mentioned.
it's pretty embarrassing that i would have solved this problem if i actually read the instructions.
Thank you so much for the help k66!
