There's a bunch of scammers on eBay now (likely bought or hacked accounts) putting up blank listings for the 2026 Steam controller. Good thing eBay is taking them down from user input, least they're doing us a favor.

My UMN1NTR diodes arrived today, and I've already installed one and they were tiny definitely the smallest thing I've soldered. The problem is that I'm locked out of the house. The only damn day the door lock actually works is when I'm home alone and will be alone for another 3 or 4 hours. So im stuck in the backyard.

Anyways the next time I open up this gamecube is to install the magnetic VGR gamecube lid switch

But, NO, it become to be a generic COB epoxy blob NOA !! I was about to return it but opened to see and well, just the RGB to HDMI converter cost what I pay for the console, and comes with a very niche controller with 10 ft cable, so may be worth.

And also the design and manufacture is above the norm trending to be a good one. in overall the quality seems very nice.

Even the Chip can be set to PAL or NTSC by a small switch

So I will Kept it, it cost only 35 USD.

One of the hobby paint brands I use was banned in Canada for a while, and I guess they no longer are because my online hobby shop restocked a bunch of them today. So I ordered 6 bottles of paint, 2 bottles of UV gloss coat, 2 bottles of surfacer, 2 bottles of thinner, and one of their putties to try.

New main board for 1 1/2 year old "Smart" 4k 120hz TV that quit on me. Figured for $40 it's worth a try:

Then, I had this Tequila like 7 years ago when visiting Mexico, and been looking in liquor stores forever for it, but no luck. So I found a online site in Texas that sells it, Damn good stuff, I'm excited:

AHA TORO [the Bull] My birth sign. [may 4th] :):)

Got a 2TB HDD for under 60$CAD, I want to modernize my PS2 HDD setup with PSBBN.
Just need to get the SATA interface board so I can use the 2TB HDD with my PS2.

Also desperately need to grab a GBS-C since my TV doesn't have component inputs, HDMI adapters never bother to support 240p which the PS2 outputs for both PS1 mode and games running through POPStarter, and I don't want to half-ass my setup by needing two adapters to support both 240p and 480p.

Be careful with any Sata mods to the official adaptor, I accidentally shorted the 12v rail when I did mine so I'm stuck with 2.5" HDDs.

I would at least put kapton/electrical tape on the sata adaptor board.

I might redo my setup at some point since I now have an intermittent 5TB (yes I know only up to 2TB) HDD lying around.

I presume you'll be using this?
