Is it possible to play the game using an emulator like RetroArch? I dont know if it has a PSVita core but I'm just curious. I recently watched the anime and I'm interested in playing the visual novel
Try using Vita3k. It's an experimental Vita emulator that's made quite a bit of progress in the past year.

Ok I have copied the repatch folder to the ux0 folder (using Vita3K), but nothing happens. What exactly do I do after this?

Actually, I managed to get it working just by pasting the PCSG00415 files from the repatch folder and replacing the ones for the actual game. I'm really glad it works now. I did have something to note though. When I got to April 26th for some reason the game crashed. I'm not sure whether that's the emulator or the game itself. But it's been fine since I reopened it.
Also just a general question, is the entire game included on the PSVita version (like all the routes and the After Story)?

how did u get it to work? i did what u did but it still doesnt work

I just got the true ending for Clannad. Although I have already watched the anime playing this game was an amazing experience, especially the routes for Fuko and Kotomi, as well as the entirety of the After Story.
Vita3K worked really well for this game, although there were a couple of issues.
1. at some random points the game just crashes, and once the audio got all weird so I had to restart the emulator. This could just be the emulator and not the game itself.
2. This also may just be the emulator but the cutscenes were very laggy (specifically the opening and the one that plays in the true ending)
3. Just a minor nitpick but there were two bits of text near the end of Kyou's route that weren't translated into english.

Other than these three things, I really enjoyed playing this game and I'm happy to see it got an english patch.

Can someone please make a video or write better instructions? Am I supposed to do anything with the files we patched because from my understanding it makes me patch them for no reason if all I have to do at the end is copy and paste the repatch folder to my vita and the only files in it are some image files.

I don't have a ps vita nor a pc. I have an ppsspp emulator and the copy of the game in Japanese. Can you tell me if it's gonna work or not?

No, because this patch is for the Vita port, not PSP. There is no Clannad PSP fan TL.

Also, if you don't have a PC, how are you playing PPSSPP?

i'm not really the most well versed in this kind of modding stuff but i've had SOME success wrt patching so far, however i'm having a really weird problem with this one. i'm gonna try redoing the patch instructions when i don't feel so burnt out about it but it SEEMS like the patch is installed! but when i hit "new game" it tries to start and then just boots the menu back up again :( if anyone had any pointers i would be greatly appreciative!!!!!

I tried that but aren't the things on that file just images for the manual and how did you replace the file from the game?
