Retail price.I'd wager it's worth somewhere in the region of £429.99.

Why would it suddenly lose £80 of value when it hasn't even been opened?Retail price.
Selling on a marketplace it's worth less (£350 or less).
It's just so many being sold and there's not a huge demand for it. It might be worth more in other countries. Why would it suddenly lose £80 of value when it hasn't even been opened?

And some people just want to get some money back even if it's at a steep loss.Usually it is cheaper on marketplace like Facebook due to people overstocking their inventory, it is not like compared to a 1.0.0 switch when the first gen switch came out.
Why would it be worth anything extra? Is an unopened Switch 2 with mario kart world download with serial HAW50030xxxxxx worth anything extra?
Uh, no Marc. That's not it at all. The fact that it is not from a real retailer, would not be subject to sales tax, may be stolen, and may even be counterfeit is why it would be worth less than retail. But there is always that moron out there looking to save $10 and outsmart everyone else, so who knows what he could get for it. And I'd say the fastest selling console ever, which continues to outsell all models of Playstations combined, has plenty of demand for it, no matter what the incels who constantly take shots at it here write. It's just so many being sold and there's not a huge demand for it. The good thing is that there's no reports of Switch 2's Joy-Cons having stick drift so one thing less to worry for those without warranty. Why are you being argumentative for no reason?
OP asked if it was worth extra. The answer is no.
Not everywhere charges sales tax. Some stores even have the Switch for $50 off MSRP.
It being one of the fastest selling consoles of all time has no bearing on inventory levels. Plenty of retailers have more units than they know what to do with them.
Nothing that you wrote has any bearing to OP's question.
You also forgot to mention that without the original receipt, Nintendo doesn't have to honor the warranty (depending on the region). So there are even more reasons as to why it's worth less than retail. But again, that wasn't really the question.
They haven't even been out a full year. Give them time to mess up lol.The good thing is that there's no reports of Switch 2's Joy-Cons having stick drift so one thing less to worry for those without warranty.
